VUE Audiotechnik | High-output, low-distortion loudspeaker systems
I can’t see using anything but the VUE speakers in this role ever again. I’m sold.
The VUE [al-4] line array has excellent pattern control. We were able to quickly assemble the al-4 system and easily dial-in exactly the perfect coverage. I was extremely impressed.
It’s clear the VUE designers have experience working the real world. The al-4’s coverage is so well defined and it’s incredibly easy to scale up or down as needed.
The al-12’s pack a punch! There’s plenty of power out of the box, which basically lead to a lot of headroom on my master fader
Michael Adams and VUE have outdone themselves with the al-12 system and the new 21-inch hs-221 sub. The system has all of the features that any touring engineer would expect. The fly hardware and dolly carts are self explanatory and easy to deploy, which is integral for a touring system. The audio quality is easily in the top systems.
I think the al-4 kicks major butt. Right out of the box it is the best sounding line array for vocals that I have ever heard. It’s ridiculous, just flippin’ ridiculous!
The VUE al-8 absolutely surpassed my expectations. It had all the warmth of a much larger line array and was extremely consistent.
The al-4’s compact size and ability to scale up and down, or drop in and out of a road case in pre-assembled stacks, makes it extremely easy to work with. It’s really the perfect balance of line array performance and single-box simplicity.
The most salient single aspect of the [VUE] demo was the consistency of voicing across the entire product line. Even the smallest cabinets impressed with their forward voicing, punch and clarity.
With SystemVUE™ control software, we could properly attenuate the al-4s directed at the floor seats in front of the stage, while making sure the throw provided proper coverage at the back of each balcony seat.
