When Pageant Theater co-owners Pat Hagin and Joe Edwards set out to add a mid sized venue to their St. Louis live-music-venue portfolio, they hired St. Louis based Logic Systems to deliver a state-of-the-art VUE based design for their brand new, 10,000 square foot rock performance venue, Delmar Hall, in St. Louis’s burgeoning Delmar Loop district.
According to Delmar Hall FOH engineer, Tiffany Hendren, the decision to select VUE was easy. “We started demoing line arrays from five different manufacturers and the second one we heard was the VUE system. After just a few seconds, I knew VUE was the perfect choice — it was clean, clear, warm and loud — just beautiful. And VUE’s Jeff Taylor was great at bringing in all the options to make our decision even easier — their customer service is insane.”

VUE al-12 Continues Momentum at BottleRock Napa Valley

Delicate Productions provided full production services including VUE al-12 based system for the Miner Family Winery stage. Celebrating its fifth year last month, BottleRock Napa Valley once again marked the unofficial launch of Northern California’s festival and arts season with a three-day, no-holds-barred music, food and wine festival held over the Memorial Day Weekend. This year included a roster of the world’s top musicians on four stages, including: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Foo Fighters, Maroon 5, and Modest Mouse to name just a few. Delicate Productions who have provided full production services for the event since it’s inception, for the third time supplied a VUE Audiotechnik based complete house and monitor system on the Miner Family Winery stage. The all-VUE setup encompassed al-Class line arrays, h-Class monitors and subs, as well as a bevy of VUEDrive Systems Engines providing all the loudspeaker power and processing.
Sound Image Bay Area Takes The Stage with VUE

Escondido, California based Sound Image has expanded operations and set sights on a new location focused on Northern California. From audio, lighting, and video, to virtually everything in between, Sound Image Productions opened its Bay Area office in February, with a fully equipped toolbox including a complete inventory of audio solutions from VUE Audiotechnik. Sound Image’s President and CEO, Dave Shadoan appointed George Edwards as General Manager at the new facility.
“This is a very discerning and diverse market,” explained George. “But most of the local houses are highly specialized, and offer a very “us-too” audio selection. Our objective is to be different, with a fully modern audio toolbox, and a broad selection of production service for anything from a corporate event to a full-scale concert system. Plus, with the Sound Image name, customers know that we have the experience and resources to really deliver regardless of complexity.”
VUE h-208 Offers High-Profile Performance in an Exceptionally Low-Profile Package

VUE Audiotechnik revealed the next addition to its highly acclaimed h-Class family of ultra-high-definition, full-range loudspeaker systems. The h-208 combines a full complement of VUE’s most advanced transducer technologies, with powerful onboard VUEDrive electronics, into a low-profile configuration ideal for low-ceiling applications where output and fidelity are critical.
The two-way h-208 includes a custom-designed 3-inch diameter large-format compression driver that features a Truextent® beryllium diaphragm and a powerful Neodymium magnet. This combination allows the HF unit to deliver dramatically better high-frequency extension and response linearity than more traditional aluminum or titanium-based designs. A precision engineered 70° x 45° (H x V) horn ensures predictable coverage.
Sensorium’s design consists of four clusters of eight VUE al-4 subcompact line array elements. The four arrays are carefully positioned around the extended main stage to deliver 270-degree coverage. “The beryllium HF drivers in the VUE systems deliver dynamic range and a level of intelligibility simply unmatched,” remarked Bilgore. “Plus, the al-4’s coverage is so well controlled, that we were easily able to ensure ideal vertical coverage, while avoiding the overspill that was troublesome with the previous system.”
